On the Radio Tonight
Hi friends. I should have told you about his sooner, but you know me, I’m rarely confident that I know which day it is anymore. What day is it? It’s today, man. The only one that matters.
But today, in just a few hours, DJ Amjad will be spinning the smooth groove Saturday evening tunes on his Deep Mix show, just like he does every Saturday on Toledo’s only community owned radio station, 106.1 WAKT. The show is from 8-11pm eastern time, and he informed me that tonight he’s going to end his show by reading my poem Uncle Sam Wants You. What a huge honor!
