This one deserves several readings...I feel those contradictions quite strongly, and though I have many favorite lines...the best, for me, is praying for your non-compliance...I really love those lines. A couple of the lines made me laugh out loud...in recognition of just such feelings! I will live in your head for a little while, while I reread this epic, joyfully taking notes, and read through your latest Poetry and Chap books...Thank you for sending them...I'll say Hi once in a while, as I read them aloud, so if you hear me...just dance, to let me know ❤️☮️
I think it probably is one of the finer things you’ve written… And like our children are special, it’s hard to see how anything could be removed from it without making it somehow diminished or lesser… And yet the process of sculpting is the process of removing that which is unnecessary from the idealized vision. I suspect you could subtract quite a bit from this and make it that much more concentrated, refined and powerful… There’s no telling whether you have the stomach for such work… But I for one would be interested in seeing what your efforts produce… You’ll always have the completed original version, but in today’s landscape of shortend attention spans you may find that you could sculpt something more immediately accessible to a larger audience. Just a thought… Carry on my dude, you are making the world a better place with your work.🥰🙏🤓
